KATHMANDU, July 27: Five persons have taken ill after consuming wild mushroom in Baitadi on Tuesday morning.
Five members of the same family in Melauni Municipality-5, Khaligad were taken ill after they consumed wild fungi.
One dies after consuming wild mushroom
Those taken ill are Sunita Joshi, 14, Sabita Joshi, 12, Kiran Joshi, 10, eight-year-old Soniya Joshi and four-year-old Divya Joshi. They are undergoing treatment at Kesharpur Primary Health Centre in Melauni, informed Acting Chief Public Health Inspector Mukesh Kanta Dayal.
Ailing members were rushed to the health facility when they became ill after consuming mushrooms on Tuesday morning.
All family members had eaten the mushroom that was collected from a nearby forest. As They started vomiting after consuming the mushroom.
