Flight route linking Afghanistan's Khost to UAE opens

KHOST (AFGHANISTAN), Jan 27: The first-ever commercial flight opened from the Khost International Airport to Al Ain, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), on Friday, the local television Tolonews reported on Saturday.

KHOST (AFGHANISTAN), Jan 27: The first-ever commercial flight opened from the Khost International Airport to Al Ain, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), on Friday, the local television Tolonews reported on Saturday.


Two flights are scheduled to take off from the airport every week. Residents and passengers were asking for more flights, Tolonews said.

Flydubai, a UAE-based airline, resumed flights from Dubai to Kabul last November following more than two years of suspension.
