FNCCI operates ‘Help Desk’ for specified services related to COVID-19

KATHMANDU, May 12: The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has set up a COVID-19 help desk to provide COVID-19 patients with necessary support as the cases of coronavirus infection and the number of deaths from the disease soar in the country.

KATHMANDU, May 12: The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has set up a COVID-19 help desk to provide COVID-19 patients with necessary support as the cases of coronavirus infection and the number of deaths from the disease soar in the country.


The help desk established under the coordination of FNCCI Senior Vice-president Chandra Prasad Dhakal includes six designated areas to support COVID-19 patients. With the mechanism, the FNCCI is offering support for oxygen cylinder management, facilitation for hospitals and isolation centers, hospital management, ambulance service, medicines and medical equipment and hotel and air transport.

The FNCCI has urged the service seekers to contact telephone numbers 9801096812 and 9801192591 to report on the type of services they have sought for.  Currently, the umbrella organization of the private sector has been operating ‘Hello Doctor’ under its FNCCI Operation COVID Relief Nepal Campaign to facilitate medical counseling service to the people concerned, reads a press statement.
