KATHMANDU, Dec 13: Most Terai districts are covered with fog since morning today. The Meteorology Forecasting Division (MFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has said that western winds are currently affecting Nepal.
According to the MFD, the weather is generally clear in the hilly areas of the country, while the weather condition in the remaining parts of the country is partly cloudy.

The weather will be generally clear in the Terai region with partial to normal change in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and partial change in the rest of the hilly areas.
There is a possibility of light rain at one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces. Similarly, MFD mentioned that there is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and Himalayan areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces.
Tonight, the weather will remain generally clear over the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, while the rest of the provinces will be partly cloudy. There is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hills and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
The MFD has requested all to be cautious as there is a possibility of light rainfall in one or two places of the country. There is also a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces.
