KATHMANDU, Dec 15: Foreign Minister Pradeep Gyawali will hold a meeting with the US Secretary of State Michael Pompeo early next week in the United States, sources said. This will be the first official meeting at the level of foreign ministers between the two countries after a hiatus of 17 years, where the two sides will be reviewing the entire gamut of bilateral ties.

The two ministers are set to hold bilateral meeting on December 18.
This will be an opportunity for both the countries to review whole gamut of bilateral relations and explore ways to further strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries, officials said. Ministry of Foreign Affairs is set to formally announce the visit of Minister Gyawali on Sunday.
