​Foreign Minister Saud holds meeting with US Finance Corporation Chief Executive Nathan

WASHINGTON DC, Nov 1: Minister for Foreign Affairs Narayan Prakash Saud, who is on an official visit to the United States of America, held a meeting with Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the US International Development Finance Corporation, Scott Nathan on Tuesday.

WASHINGTON DC, Nov 1: Minister for Foreign Affairs Narayan Prakash Saud, who is on an official visit to the United States of America, held a meeting with Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the US International Development Finance Corporation, Scott Nathan on Tuesday.


On the occasion, they discussed the matters related to Corporation's investment in Nepal, it is said. Minister Saud highlighting government strategies for the promotion of private sector investment in Nepal had urged CEO Nathan for increasing investment flow to Nepal through the Corporation.

Corporation Chief Nathan had shared his perspectives on the increment of Corporation's investment for economic development of Nepal and its potential areas.


The Corporation as part of the US government now has invested USD 36 billion 450 million in 110 countries. Besides, the Corporation has been mobilizing financial instrument for the development of the private sector through capital investment.
