Former minister Bal Krishna Khand's bail hearing concludes

KATHMANDU, Dec 14: The hearing on the petition of former minister Bal Krishna Khand, currently in custody pending trial in the fake Bhutanese refugee case, has concluded. The High Court in Patan completed the proceedings on Thursday.

KATHMANDU, Dec 14: The hearing on the petition of former minister Bal Krishna Khand, currently in custody pending trial in the fake Bhutanese refugee case, has concluded. The High Court in Patan completed the proceedings on Thursday.


The petition was presented before Judge Krishna Ram Koirala's bench. Previously, a two-judge panel had differing opinions on whether to grant bail to former minister Khand or remand him to prison.

With the conclusion of the hearing, preparations are now underway for the issuance of the court's order.
