KATHMANDU, Sept 25: The prostate cancer operation on the former President Ram Baran Yadav was successfully carried out on Friday.
“The operation went successful,” said Yadav on a telephone call to Republica Online, “With the blessings of Nepali people, my treatment went good. I intend to serve the country after attaining a healthy state.”

Yadav is currently taking rest at the guest house of Vattikuti Urology Institute (VUI) situated at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.
Former Nepali President was treated by a team lead by the senior doctor, Mani Menon.
“After 24 hours of the operation, I was shifted to the guest house,” said Yadav, “doctors have decided to further consult me after observing my daily reports for eight/nine days.”
