KATHMANDU, Dec 4: Former President Dr Ram Varan Yadav has said that the government should look toward making an environment for the implementation of youths' dreams and vision to prosper the country’s economy. Speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the Federation of International Nepali Youth Entrepreneurs (FINYE) on Friday, Dr Yadav expressed trust in the organization to play a supportive role in the development of young entrepreneurs by bringing in foreign knowledge, skills and technology.
Former President Yadav also mentioned that Nepal is an attractive destination for world tourism due to its unique natural beauty and geographical diversity and that the organization should also play a role in attracting foreign tourists to the country.
'We changed many political systems but not education system'
Yadav also remarked that the country's political system has not improved and good governance has not been promoted even though the country has reached its present state after more than 70 years of struggle for political stability through panchayat, democracy and republic struggle.
Furthermore, expressing his concerns over the deforestation of forests in Terai and excavation in the Chure region in the name of development, Yadav pointed out the need for protecting the environment to control the risk of climate change.
