Former Speaker Mahara’s wife dies of COVID-19

KATHMANDU, Nov 4: Sita Mahara, the wife of former Speaker of House of Representatives, Krishna Bahadur Mahara, died of the novel coronavirus disease on Wednesday morning.

KATHMANDU, Nov 4: Sita Mahara, the wife of former Speaker of House of Representatives, Krishna Bahadur Mahara, died of the novel coronavirus disease on Wednesday morning.


She breathed her last while undergoing treatment at Norvic Hospital in Kathmandu, according to Bishnu Rijal, a leader of the ruling NCP.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli also expressed sorrow on the demise of former speaker's spouse.
