Four acid victims provided employment

KATHMANDU, Sept 28: Four acid victims have been provided job opportunities--three at Kumari Bank and one at the office of Attorney General. Kumari Bank has appointed Jenny Khadka and Sangita Magar as marketing managers in one of its branch offices in Kathmandu. Bindabasini Kansakar has been appointed in the same position in one of its branches in Hetauda.

KATHMANDU, Sept 28: Four acid victims have been provided job opportunities--three at Kumari Bank and one at the office of Attorney General. Kumari Bank has appointed Jenny Khadka and Sangita Magar as marketing managers in one of its branch offices in Kathmandu. Bindabasini Kansakar has been appointed in the same position in one of its branches in Hetauda.


Likewise, Ram Raja Thapa from Nuwakot, another victim who was attacked with acid by his own wife, has been appointed as a driver at the Office of the Attorney General.

Bindabasini Kansakar was acid-attacked by an Indian national while she was sitting in her shop in 2013. Likewise, Sangita Magar had faced acid attack while she was in a tuition center for the preparation of Secondary Education Examination (SEE) in 2015.  A local resident of Kalopul, Kathmandu had thrown acid on Jenny Thapa in 2019.
