TRISHULI, July 27: Police have arrested four youths while trafficking a woman of Dupcheswor rural municipality-1, Ghyangphedi in Nuwakot.
The arrested are Kumar Tamang, 22, Arjun Tamang, 25, and Raju Tamang, 26, of Ghyangphedi and Indra Lal Rajbamshi, 21, of Mahabhara, Jhapa, shared Superintendant of Police (SP) Dev Bahadur Bohora.
Man arrested on girl trafficking charge
Police nabbed them from Kharanitar of Nuwakot on Tuesday while tthe 24-year-old woman was being trafficked. They had tempted her to offer a job in the capital.
The District Police Office, Nuwakot shared that a case was registered against the four at the Nuwakot District Court under the Anti Human Trafficking Act.
In yet another incident, Kumar Tamang, 32, was physically attacked to death in Dupcheswor-5, Samundratar Kamachowk.
Tamang's neighbour Deepak Tamang, 44, was arrested for his involvement in the killing, shared Police Inspector Jitendra Kumar Basnet.
Deepak had thrashed Kumar in a family dispute on Tuesday. Police confirmed that Kumar was beaten to death. RSS
