Four injured in landslide in Bajura, about a dozen livestock buried

KATHMANDU, Aug 10: A landslide that occurred in Himali Rural Municipality-3 of Bajura on Saturday morning left four people injured and buried about a dozen livestock.

According to Gobinda Malla, Chairman of Himali Rural Municipality, the injured individuals include 50-year-old Hans Budha, 13-year-old Premkala Budha, 10-year-old Lalita Budha, and 14-year-old Agauṭhi Rokaya. He also mentioned that about a dozen livestock were buried in the landslide.


The District Police Office, Bajura, reported that a police team has already reached the affected site. However, due to the remote location, detailed information on the damage has not yet been received. Efforts are underway to rescue the injured.
