LAMJUNG, Feb 4: At least four people including the Mayor of Rainas Municipality in Lamjung district were injured when a scorpio jeep met with an accident in Adamghat in Dhading district on Friday evening. The jeep with the registration number Ga 1 Jha 423 was on its way to Lamjung from Kathmandu.
41 injured in bus accident in Dhading
Mayor of Rainas municipality Khadga Bahadur Gurung, Chief Administrative Officer Gokarnaraj Suyal, Mayor Gurung's Personal Secretary Balsingh Gurung and driver Jeevan Oli were injured when the Scorpio crashed at 8:30 pm.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP Shyam Bahadur Khatri at District Police Office, Dhading, the accident occurred while the Scorpio was crossing the road with an unmarked motorcycle. According to him, those injured in the accident were sent to Adam Ghat Hospital for treatment. He said that all the injured have returned from the hospital after general treatment.
