Four rapists caught red-handed

GAIGHAT, July 16: Police today made public four persons arrested on the charge of raping a woman at Lalpata of Triyuga municipality. 



Police had arrested them red-handed from a Scorpio jeep at 11:00 pm on Sunday night at a time when they were heading towards Triyuga municipality after abducting the woman from Lahan bazaar. 



They are Amit Gupta, 24, Sandesh Gupta, 25, of Lahan municipality-7, Bibek Sah, 25, and Nitesh Kumar Sah, 26, of Mirchaiya, according to the District Police Office, Udaypur. 



Chief at the District Police Office, Udayapur, Nabaraj Bhatta, said that a police patrolling team from Police Post, Lalpata, caught red-handed the four persons at a time when they raped her turn by turn in the Scorpio jeep (Ba 14 Cha 6817) and kept her naked inside the vehicle. 



Organising a press meet, the District Police Office, Udayapur, made them public today. The woman has been kept safely at police unit after health test and her health is improving. 



Police said that preparation was underway to file case related to abduction and rape against them. RSS
