BHIMDUTTANAGAR, Nov 13: Four men involved in timber smuggling have been arrested along with weapons from Sukhadghat, Baisebichuwa VDC-1 of Kanchanpur district.
Those apprehended include Sojit Tamang of Punarbas-11, Ram Bahadur Gurung and Milan Rana of Punarbas -7 and Narayan Rana of Shankarpur-1. They were preparing load the timber onto a cart when the forest guards on patrol caught them.
A country-made pistol, two bullets and about 75 cubic feet timber was confiscated from them, the Nauranga Area Forest Office stated. RSS
