KATHMANDU, Feb 22: The Federal Socialist Forum Nepal (FSFN) is likely to join the CPN (UML) chair KP Sharma Oli-led government going by what a series of 'positive' talks are taking place in this regard between both the government and the FSFN.
The FSFN has placed the constitution amendment, an issue it has been raising for since the promulgation of the constitution, as a major proposal for joining the government.

"Official view of Prime Minister Oli on the issue will open the door for us to participate in the government," said FSFN Chairman Upendra Yadav.
Although the bilateral meeting held on Wednesday to this effect was positive, the FSFN wants the constitutional amendment to become a political issue, he said.
"Discussions in this regard have started from Wednesday. Our participation in the government will depend on how the government responds to our demands," Yadav said.
Likewise, Prime Minister Oli has also intensified efforts to bring the Rastriya Janata Party (RJP) onboard the government.
He is busy lately holding talks with the RJP also. "Discussions are on in this regard. Our bottom line to participate in the government is the constitutional amendment. The CPN (UML) is flexible towards the matter lately. So we are positive," said presidium member of the RJP Sharat Singh Bhandari.
The UML politburo member Bishnu Rimal said the door is open for those political parties willing to join the government. RSS
