KATHMANDU, July 31: Haribol Gajurel has resigned from the post of Deputy General Secretary of the CPN (Maoist Center), citing a series of leadership errors. In his resignation letter, dated July 29, Gajurel highlighted six key mistakes by the party leadership and called for all office-bearers to resign collectively.
Addressing party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Gajurel acknowledged his role in the party's issues and stressed the need for a comprehensive discussion to address internal problems. He criticized recent decisions, including the appointment of Narayan Dahal, Chairman Dahal's brother, as the chairman of the National Assembly, and expressed dissatisfaction with the party's deviation from Marxist principles.
