KATHMANDU, Jan 10: Ghanashyam Bhusal, who left the CPN-UML and became an independent candidate in the House of Representatives election, is preparing to join the CPN (Unified Socialist).
He has also sent a proposal for his entry into the Unified Socialist. Over the proposal sent by Bhusal to the party, the leaders of the United Socialist have said that they have made positive efforts to unite the communist movement.

A leader of the United Socialist said that Bhusal’s proposal has been accepted by the central secretariat meeting held today. Similarly, another leader of the party also said that now the United Socialist Party will send a proposal to Bhusal for joining the party.
It is understood that Bhusal aspired to the post of general secretary to join the unified socialist. Bhusal, who ran as an independent candidate from Rupandehi Constituency No. 1, was defeated by UML's Chhabilal Bishwakarma in the elections held on November 20.
