Global IME Capital to float Madhya Bhotekoshi’s IPO

KATHMANDU, May 6: Madhya Bhotekoshi Hydropower Company Ltd (MBHCL) has appointed Global IME Capital Ltd (GICL) as the issue manager to launch its primary issue.

Issuing a statement on Thursday, GICL said that it will work as the issue manager for the public offering of MBHCL. Prabhu Capital Ltd, Civil Capital Market Ltd, Ace Capital Ltd, CBIL Capital Ltd, Sanima Capital Ltd and Laxmi Capital Market Ltd are the co-issue managers of the offering.


According to the statement, out of the 49 percent of shares worth Rs 2.94 billion allocated for public, it will float 11.7 million unit shares to depositors of Employees Provident Fund, 2.1 million units to staff of the company and 600,000 million units to the staff of lenders in the first stage. Similarly, 6 million units of shares allocated for locals of project-hit areas will be 

offered in the second stage, while 9 million units will be floated to the general public in the third state, according to the statement.
