KATHMANDU, Dec 13: In just a matter of nine days, the price of gold has decreased by Rs 5,600 per tola. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, since December 4, the price of gold has experienced an accumulated decrease of Rs 5,600 per tola.
On December 4, the price of fine gold was fixed at Rs 121,600 per tola, which is the highest price ever. The price of fine gold has decreased and has been fixed at Rs 116,000 per tola on Wednesday. This price on Wednesday is Rs 300 less than that on the previous day.
Gold price up by Rs 1,400 per tola in 4 days
Standard gold is being traded at Rs 115,450 per tola today, compared to the price of Rs 115,750 per tola yesterday.
Similarly, silver is being traded at Rs 1,400 per tola. The price of silver is Rs 10 per tola less than the previous day.
The fall in the price of gold in the international market is also affecting the Nepali market.
