Gold price drops by Rs 200 per tola, silver price stable

KATHMANDU, Jan 11: The price of gold has decreased by Rs 200 per tola in the domestic market on Thursday.

KATHMANDU, Jan 11: The price of gold has decreased by Rs 200 per tola in the domestic market on Thursday.


According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, the trading price of fine gold on Thursday is Rs 118,300 per tola compared to the price of Rs 118,500 per tola on the previous day.

Similarly, standard gold is being sold at Rs 117,750 per tola today, declining from Rs 117,950 per tola from the price set on Wednesday.


Meanwhile, the price of silver has remained stable at Rs 1,410 per tola on Thursday. 


Gold is being traded at $2033.1 per ounce in the international market on Thursday. On Wednesday, the precious yellow metal was priced at $2028.58 an ounce.


Silver is sold at $23.05 per ounce. The price of silver was fixed at $23.09 per ounce on Tuesday and was down to $22.94 on Wednesday.
