Gold price hits new record in Nepal, trading at Rs 123,500 per tola

KATHMANDU, March 6: The price of gold set a new record in the domestic market on Wednesday. The price of gold has surged by Rs 500 per tola today.

KATHMANDU, March 6: The price of gold set a new record in the domestic market on Wednesday. The price of gold has surged by Rs 500 per tola today.


According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, the price of fine gold has been fixed at Rs 123,500 per tola and that of standard gold at Rs 122,900 per tola.

Fine gold was traded at Rs 123,000 per tola, and standard gold at Rs 122,400 per tola on Tuesday.


Similarly, today the price of silver has decreased by Rs 5 per tola compared to the previous day's trading price and has been set at Rs 1,440 per tola.
