Gold price reaches all-time high at Rs 149,900 per tola

KATHMANDU, Aug 2: The price of gold in the domestic market set a new record on Friday, reaching about Rs 150,000 per tola. The price of gold, which has been continuously setting new records, reached an all-time high on Friday.


Earlier, on July 17, gold reached its highest price ever, trading at Rs 149,800 per tola. On Friday, gold price reached Rs 149,900 per tola, exceeding the previous record by Rs 100 per tola.

The Federation of Nepal Gold & Silver Dealers' Associations has set the price of fine gold at Rs 149,900 per tola for today. On Thursday, fine gold was traded at Rs 149,400 per tola, having increased by Rs 500 per tola compared to the previous day.


Meanwhile, the price of silver has decreased compared to the previous day. Silver is being traded at Rs 1,795 per tola on Friday.
