KATHMANDU, Feb 12:  The price of gold remains stable in the domestic market on Monday.

The price of fine gold remains stagnant at Rs 118,000 per tola today.


Similarly, the price of standard gold remains constant at Rs 117,450 per tola on Monday.


Compared to Friday, gold price dropped by 500 per tola and reached Rs 118,000 per tola on Sunday. On Friday, the trading price of gold was Rs 118,500 per tola and on Thursday, its price was fixed at Rs 118,400 per tola.


The price of silver has risen by Rs 5 per tola to become Rs 1,395 per tola today. 


In the international market, Gold is being traded at $2023.65 per ounce on Monday. It was sold at $2024.49 an ounce on Sunday. Silver is being traded at $22.74per ounce. On Sunday, silver was traded at $22.61 per ounce.
