Gold price sees slight decrease

KATHMANDU, Jan 7:  The price of gold that has been decreasing steadily in the Nepali market for the past few days decreased further by Rs 700 per tola to Rs 91,600 on Friday. The yellow metal was traded at Rs 92,300 per tola in the  domestic market on Thursday.

KATHMANDU, Jan 7:  The price of gold that has been decreasing steadily in the Nepali market for the past few days decreased further by Rs 700 per tola to Rs 91,600 on Friday. The yellow metal was traded at Rs 92,300 per tola in the  domestic market on Thursday.


According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of standard gold today is Rs 91,100 per tola. It was Rs 91,800 per tola yesterday.

Similarly, the price of silver today has decreased by Rs 10 per tola to Rs 1,225, the federation said. Silver was traded at Rs 1,230 per tola on Thursday.


The federation has been fixing the price of gold and silver in Nepal in line with the transaction price of the international market.


Likewise, gold is trading at around $ 1,792 per ounce in international markets today.
