Gold price sees slight increase in Nepal

KATHMANDU, Dec 27: The price of gold increased by Rs 100 per tola to Rs 93,200 on Monday. The yellow metal was traded at Rs 93,100 per tola in the domestic market on Sunday.

KATHMANDU, Dec 27: The price of gold increased by Rs 100 per tola to Rs 93,200 on Monday. The yellow metal was traded at Rs 93,100 per tola in the domestic market on Sunday.


According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of standard gold today is Rs 92,700 per tola. It was Rs 92,600 per tola yesterday.

Similarly, the price of silver today decreased by Rs 10 per tola to Rs 1,250, the federation said. Silver was traded at Rs 1,260 per tola on Sunday.


Likewise, gold is trading at around USD 1,809 per ounce in international markets today.


The federation has been fixing the price of gold and silver in Nepal in line with the transaction price of the international market.
