KATHMANDU, Sept 30: The price of gold in the Nepali market this week witnessed a decline of Rs 3,995 per 10 grams. At the start of the week, gold was priced at Rs 96,195 per 10 grams, but by the week's last trading day, the price had fallen to Rs 93,280 per 10 grams.
This marks a decrease of 3,915 per 10 grams compared to the first day of the week. The Nepali gold market saw stability in prices compared to Sunday on the second day of the week, but prices declined on all other days.
Gold, silver prices drop on Wednesday
This week, the price of silver has also decreased in the Nepalis market. The price of silver, which was traded at 1,226 per 10 grams on the first day of the week, fell to 1,395 per 10 grams on the last trading day of the week.
This week, the price of gold has decreased in the world market. Along with the increase in the sale of gold in the American market, the price has fallen sharply due to the stronger US dollar. It is said that the price of gold has decreased due to the decrease in the price of crude oil in the world market.
Dharma Sundar Bajracharya, Secretary General of the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, said that due to the fall in the price of gold in the international market, there has been a high drop in the price in the Nepali market as well.
