Goma Air Managing Director Manoj Karki claimed that the tire didn’t burst.

“After landing at the airport, the pilot inspected the aircraft before returning to Nepalgunj and found that the tire of the aircraft had eroded,” Karki told Republica Online, “Then, a new tire was brought and replaced.”

The aircraft returned to Nepalgunj at 2:15 pm after technicians replaced the defunct tire.
