Government to provide additional assistance to Pyuthan landslides victims

KATHMANDU, Oct 6: A meeting of the Council of Ministers today has appointed former secretaries Madhuraman Acharya and Sureshman Shrestha to the committee to evaluate work performance of Nepal Civil Service secretaries and joint-secretaries.

KATHMANDU, Oct 6: A meeting of the Council of Ministers today has appointed former secretaries Madhuraman Acharya and Sureshman Shrestha to the committee to evaluate work performance of Nepal Civil Service secretaries and joint-secretaries.

Similarly, the meeting decided to make 450 forest security guards to work even during the Dashain holidays as well bearing in mind the probability of deforestation during the festivals and pay them for overtime from the line Ministry itself, according to Government Spokesperson and Minister for Information and Communications Surendra Bahadur Karki. 


Likewise, the government has decided to provide additional Rs 15,000 each to the families got affected by the landslides that occurred a few months ago in Pyuthan. Earlier, the victims' families were provided Rs 10,000 each. RSS
