Govt begins administering second dose of Verocell vaccine from today

KATHMANDU, May 16: The government has begun inoculating the second dose of Verocell, the COVID-19 vaccine developed by China, from Sunday.

KATHMANDU, May 16: The government has begun inoculating the second dose of Verocell, the COVID-19 vaccine developed by China, from Sunday.


The vaccination drive will end on May 25.

Those people who had received the first dose of Verocell have been asked to visit vaccine centers nearby between 10AM to 4PM, adopting proper COVID-19 safety protocols issued by the Ministry of Social Development of Bagmati Province.


The vaccine is currently being administered in all wards of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.


Those who received the Verocell vaccine on April 7 to 10 have been asked to visit vaccine centers on May 16, those receiving on April 11 and 12 on May 17, those receiving on April 13 to 15 on May 18, those receiving on April 16, 17 on May 19, those receiving on April 18 and 19 on May 20, those receiving on April 20 to 23 on May 21, those receiving on April 24 and 25 on May 22, those receiving on April 26 on May 23, those receiving on April 27 on May 24 and those receiving on April 28 on May 25.
