KATHMANDU, June 27: The government has officially announced a public holiday on Thursday. This decision has been made to mark the celebration of Bakra-Eid, an important festival observed by Muslims worldwide.


The Ministry of Home Affairs has released a notice confirming the declaration of a public holiday on June 29 of this year to commemorate Bakra-Eid.
