Govt forms committee to probe Fishtail chopper crash

KATHMANDU, Aug 9: The government on Tuesday formed a four-member committee to investigate the Fishtail Air chopper crash that claimed the lives of seven persons including the pilot.

KATHMANDU, Aug 9: The government on Tuesday formed a four-member committee to investigate the Fishtail Air chopper crash that claimed the lives of seven persons including the pilot.



Nepal Army (NA) Lieutenant Colonel and helicopter pilot, Subas Thapa, Director of Engineering Department of Simrik Air, Bishnu Basnyat are members of the committee headed by former Director General of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), Hari Bhakta Shrestha.



Joint-secretary at the Ministry of Culture Tourism and Civil Aviation, Suresh Acharya is a member-secretary of the committee.



The committee has been mandated to submit it's report within three months.
