Addressing the 27th anniversary of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal and the sixth convocation ceremony in the capital on Thursday, Minister Dr Mahat said that good governance can be ensured if chartered accountants carry out their responsibilities honestly in the course of fulfilling professional duties.

“Many issues would be resolved once accounting and chartered accountants are up to the mark. There is a need to address serious problems based on their priority after categorizing the arrears. Chartered Accountants should be integrated into our tax administration," he said.
