Govt presents Rs 1.315 trillion fiscal budget 2018/19 (with full text)

KATHMANDU, May 29: The government has presented a 1.315 trillion rupees full-fledged budget for the fiscal budget 2018/19.

KATHMANDU, May 29: The government has presented a 1.315 trillion rupees full-fledged budget for the fiscal budget 2018/19. 


Presenting the fiscal budget at the Federal Parliament on Tuesday, Finance Minister Yubaraj Khatiwada said that Rs  56.41 billion has been allocated for the health sector.


Similarly, the budget has allocated Rs 1.34 billion for education, science and technology.


Likewise, Rs 2.04 billion has been allotted for youths and sports while Rs 1.88 billion has been allocated for women, children and senior citizens.

On the tourism fronts, Rs 5.203 billion has been allotted, Rs 19.35 billion for aviation sector while Rs 16.58 billion has been allocated for the preservation of forest and environment.


Likewise, the government has allocated Rs 24.05 billion for drinking water and Rs 83.89 billion for energy sector.
