KATHMANDU, Sept 10: Minister for Communications and Information Technology and Spokesperson of the Government Gyanendra Bahadur Karki has said the government is ready to bring legal, procedural and policy level reforms to encourage private sectors in investment.
Addressing the infrastructure summit by the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) here Friday, Minister Karki viewed the existing economic policy of the country had paved the way for the government to prepare basic infrastructures and for private sectors to expand infrastructures, and augment production and service.

"As per projection of the periodic plan, the private sector constitutes 60 percent of the total investment in Nepal," Minister Karki reminded, adding that the government was ready to facilitate the role of the private sector for expansion of infrastructures and production. The views to be delivered at this event will be useful for Nepal's holistic development, he hoped.
