It's noteworthy that Arjun Prasad Pokharel took on the role of Finance Secretary on May 3, 2023. Unfortunately, his tenure in this position was relatively short, spanning just four months.
According to reliable sources at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Krishna Hari Pushkar is returning to the position of Finance Secretary for a second time. He previously held this post starting from August 11, 2022.
Pushkar had earlier been transferred from his role as Secretary of the Ministry of Finance to the Prime Minister's Office on January 5, 2023, after which he assumed the position of Secretary in the Ministry of General Administration.
Similarly, Pushkar experienced a subsequent transfer to the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers on August 24, 2023, following the appointment of Binod Prakash Singh as Secretary of the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration. His latest reappointment coincides with the appointment of Anita Devi as the Minister of General Administration.
