Govt’s attention has been drawn toward recruitment of Nepali youth in Russian Army: PM Dahal

KATHMANDU, June 23: In the meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) on Friday, members of parliament (MPs) asked questions to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal. During this session, MP Achyut Prasad Mainali raised a question regarding the recruitment of Nepali youths in the Russian Army and demanded a response from the government.

KATHMANDU, June 23: In the meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) on Friday, members of parliament (MPs) asked questions to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal. During this session, MP Achyut Prasad Mainali raised a question regarding the recruitment of Nepali youths in the Russian Army and demanded a response from the government. The prime minister acknowledged the question and stated that the government has been attentive to this matter.


Prime Minister Dahal said that the government closely monitors international events. "The Government of Nepal has been closely observing international events with great interest," he stated. “The Nepali government is closely monitoring the recruitment process and advancements of Nepali youth in the Russian Army,” said PM Dahal.

The parliamentarians are currently engaged in a question and answer session with Prime Minister Dahal, with one hour allocated for the purpose.
