KATHMANDU, Oct 12: The government has decided to bear the plane fare of Nepali nationals willing to return home from Israel.


A cabinet meeting held on Wednesday decided to bring Nepalis from Israel on a chartered plane of the Nepal Airlines Corporation.

The meeting has given authority to Foreign Minister NP Saud to rescue Nepali nationals by sending a chartered plane in Israel as well as monitor and coordinate with other diplomatic works.


According to Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Dhanraj Gurung, the NAC aircraft flew to Israel on Wednesday.


Earlier, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal had directed the Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Sudan Kirati, to make arrangements to send a rescue flight to Israel.
