KATHMANDU, July 1: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the government will not provide the state-run Nepal Airlines Corporation(NAC) with money even in an insignificant amount under the existing circumstance.
Oli clarified that the government has no trust in the management team of the NAC, which has incurred loss amounting to Rs 37 billion. "The government will not give even a single penny since the NAC has already incurred a huge loss due to its mismanagement," he said.

Speaking at a program organized on Monday in the capital to mark the 61st anniversary of the NAC, Oli said that the government would be compelled to search for a strategic partner if the NAC did not undergo positive changes in its overall performance.
“The NAC must make strides in the mode of its management. If that does not happen, the government will be obliged to search for a strategic partner to run it”, said Prime Minister Oli.
“Why can the NAC not run an airplane that a private sector can run ?" questioned Oli.
