KATHMANDU, Aug 4: Gyanendra Malla, the former captain of the Nepali national cricket team, has retired from international cricket.
He announced his retirement at a press conference in Kathmandu on Friday.

He said that his new journey has now started. He mentioned that he is satisfied with his cricket career.
He seemed to be emotional when he announced his retirement. He also added that it is not easy to retire from the game which made him popular and respected among everyone.
Gyanendra Malla is a reliable player who played for the Nepali national cricket team. He started playing in the Nepali national cricket team from March 2006.
