Handball teams leaving for Dhaka today

KATHMANDU, Oct 7: Nepali men's and women's handball teams are set to leave for Dhaka, Bangladesh on Saturday to take part in the IHF Trophy scheduled for October 9 to 13. Men's team will take part in the U-21 event while women's team will vie in the U-20 event.

KATHMANDU, Oct 7: Nepali men's and women's handball teams are set to leave for Dhaka, Bangladesh on Saturday to take part in the IHF Trophy scheduled for October 9 to 13. Men's team will take part in the U-21 event while women's team will vie in the U-20 event. 



Sandip Khadka is the captain of the 14-men men's team while Himal Raj Dahal is head coach and Ramesh Sapkota is the assistant coach. Bhim Bahadur KC is team leader. 



Similarly Nisha Rai is the skipper of the women's squad. Parbat Gurung and Binda Kumari Maharji are travelling with the team as head coach and assistant coach respectively. Prakash Kumar Sunuwar remains as team leader. 



Keshav Kumar Bista, Member Secretary of National Sports Council bid farewell to the teams amid a program organized in the capital Thursday.
