Health camp benefits over 1,000 women

TULASIPUR, June 18: More than 1,000 women were benefitted from one-day free reproductive health camp organised by Tulasipur Sub-Metropolitan City-16 at Laxmipur village on Sunday.

TULASIPUR, June 18: More than 1,000 women were benefitted from one-day free reproductive health camp organised by Tulasipur Sub-Metropolitan City-16 at Laxmipur village on Sunday. 


Tulasipur Sub-Metropolitan City-16 organised the free health camp with coordination of different organisations including local women network.

A local Sita Chaudhary, 86, expressed happiness for getting opportunity to put her problems openly in the camp.


Saying she has been suffering from stomach-related problems since long, Chaudhary said that she also got medicines free of cost. 


Gynecologist Dr Pushpa Dangi said that 1,007 people received health services in the camp. Most of the women were found suffering from uterine problem. 


A team comprising 40 health workers including Dr Pushpa Dangi and Dr Gokarna Dahal of Rapti Zonal Hospital, Tulasipur, provided the health service.
