Heavy rainfall likely in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Sudurpaschim provinces today

KATHMANDU, July 28: Many places in Bagmati and Gandaki and some places in Koshi, Lumbini and Karnali provinces are receiving light to moderate rain at present.

KATHMANDU, July 28: Many places in Bagmati and Gandaki and some places in Koshi, Lumbini and Karnali provinces are receiving light to moderate rain at present.


This is due to the influence of monsoon air currently prevailing across the country, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology. (DHM)

This afternoon, the weather will be partly to mostly cloudy in the country with a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at some places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali and the hilly areas of the Sudurpaschim province.


Later tonight, the weather will be partly to mostly cloudy across the country. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at some places in Lumbini and Karnali and few places in the rest of the country. Heavy to very heavy rain is also possible at one or two places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Sudurpaschim provinces.


In the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at some places in Lumbini region, according to today's morning bulletin published by the DHM.
