Himalaya Airlines donates Rs 10 million to govt's coronavirus prevention, control fund

KATHMANDU, April 13: Himalaya Airlines, the private sector airlines company, has contributed Rs 10 million to the COVID-19 Prevention, Control and Treatment Fund established by the government.

KATHMANDU, April 13: Himalaya Airlines, the private sector airlines company, has contributed Rs 10 million to the COVID-19 Prevention, Control and Treatment Fund established by the government.

The Airlines is operating international flights from Nepal. Vice-chairman of the Airlines Bijaya Shrestha handed the amount to the Fund through Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Yogesh Kumar Bhattarai, on Sunday.


Similarly, Nepal Mountaineering Association has contributed Rs 500 thousand to the Fund.
