KATHMANDU, Aug 7: In response to the escalating conjunctivitis outbreak nationwide, Himalaya Airlines has taken decisive action to prioritize passenger health and safety. The airline has now made a 'fit to fly' medical report mandatory for all passengers boarding its regular flights.

Due to the highly contagious nature of conjunctivitis and the risk of rapid transmission, Himalaya Airlines has announced the requirement for passengers to present an airworthiness certificate issued by recognized health posts. This measure aims to mitigate the spread of the infection and ensure the well-being of both passengers and crew.
