Stand-up Comedian Himesh Panta on Saturday beat two nemeses to emerge as the winner of the comedy reality show ‘Comedy Champion’ season 1.

Besides Himesh, two other finalists of the show were Suman Koirala and Khadga Bahadur Pun Magar. Being the winner of the show Himesh bagged a cash prize of Rs 2,500,000 along with Datsun Redi Go car and Rs 100,000 from grooming partner and world tour package from Destination Foundation.
The finale that was held at the premises of Lalitpur based Comedy Champion Studio saw the presence of several renowned faces of Nepali film industry including Madan Krishna Shrestha Hari Bansha Acharya, and Dinesh DC.
