KATHMANDU, Sept 13: Communist party of Nepal (CPN) Co-Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the country has gained a historical opportunity to embark on a new journey by institutionalizing the achievements made so far through people's struggle and sacrifice.
He said this while launching a book 'Sangharshako Itihans (Akhil Gyan Part 2) authored by CPN central member and former chairperson of ANNISU (Revolutionary) Lekhnath Neupane in the capital on Thursday.
An opportunity for both Nepal and India
Leader Dahal pledged his party's commitment for building corruption-free society and propelling economic development towards creating a base for socialism. The incumbent government is moving ahead with commitment to create a prosperous society, he said, adding that the incident of anomalies propping up in society every day has created doubt whether such have been sponsored against the government.
Main opposition Nepali Congress Spokesperson Biswo Prakash Sharma underlined the need for ruling and opposition parties to work together to institutionalize the hard-earned achievements of republic, inclusion and proportional representation system and secularism.
Also speaking on the occasion, author Neupane said that the book was prepared targeting low-rung party cadres, students, youths and worker groups.
