Home Minister Khand directs authorities to rescue injured personal through helicopter

JAJARKOT, June 10: Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has directed authorities concerned to rescue the victims of jeep accident that occured in Junichandey Municipality-5 in Jajarkot through helicopter and provide them appropriate treatment.

JAJARKOT, June 10: Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has directed authorities concerned to rescue the victims of jeep accident that occured in Junichandey Municipality-5 in Jajarkot through helicopter and provide them appropriate treatment.


Home Secretary Tek Narayan Pandey, Joint Secretary Phanindra Mani Pokharel, who heads the ministry's Peace, Security and Crime Control Division, and the Chief District Officer of Jajarkot Rambahadur Shahi have been instructed to make necessary arrangements for the rescue and treatment of the injured.

CDO Shahi informed that a helicopter has been sent for the rescue in coordination between Nepal Army’s Divisional Headquarters in Surkhet following the instruction of Home Minister Khand.


At least two persons were killed and five others seriously injured when a jeep (Ka 02-001 Cha 0341) met with an accident on its way from Surkhet to Jajarkot, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs. Four others have received minor injuries, according to CDO Shahi.
