HoR decides to send ‘Disappeared Persons Investigation Bill’ to relevant committee

KATHMANDU, Sept 2: The House of Representatives (HoR) meeting gave approval to send the Investigation of Enforced Disappeared Persons, Truth and Reconciliation Commission Third Amendment Bill 2079 to the relevant committee for discussion.

Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Govinda Prasad Sharma Koirala proposed that the bill be sent to the relevant committee. The HoR unanimously approved the proposal to send the bill to the relevant committee for quarterly discussion.
